Regional Urban Fares - Standard taxi-cab - Effective 22nd September 2007
Flagfall: $3.10 when meter has started
Distance: $1.536 per kilometre
Time: $0.525 per minute (or if speed is below 21kph)
Extras: $1.30 entered on meter at start of trip when applicable
Phone Booking: $1.30 entered on the taxi-meter at the start of the trip.
Late Night Extra: $2.60 applies to all hirings which commence between midnight and 6.00 am
Multiple hiring: is allowed with the consent of the first and subsequent hirers. Each Hirer pays 75% of the fare shown on the meter at the end of their particular section of the trip. |

Regional Urban Fares - High Occupancy Vehicles |

Single hiring for 6 or more passengers; or where the passenger specifically requests a larger than standard taxi-cab regardless of the number of passengers carried. There is an extra cost involved when requesting a High Occupancy Vehiclefor 6 or more passengers or when a larger vehicle is required.
These vehicles are ideal for transporting those larger than normal items of luggage, such as surfboards, waveboards, skis, skiboards or even just catering for that bulkier package.
When hired for 6 or more passengers, or when hired on a specific basis that a vehicle larger than a standard taxi-cab* is required by the hirer, the following fare rates apply;

Time: $0.788 per minute (or if speed is below 20kph)
Extras: $1.30 entered on meter at start of trip when applicable
Phone Booking: $1.30 entered on the taxi-meter at the start of the trip.

*standard taxi-cab means a taxi-cab with seating capacity for up to five(5) persons excluding driver and includes station wagon vehicles. |
